Please mark your calendar with the above dates.
Please also note that only students with an 80% average or higher
and the required grade-level number of points will be allowed to
participate in the AR celebration. Please encourage your child to
read because there is still time.
We still have yearbooks left for $19.00 each. Also, please stop by
and look through the numerous bags of coats, hats, etc. that we have
collected over the year. All items that are left will be sent to the
Salvation Army during the summer, so please come by and check.
We also need your help with student’s behavior at school and on the
bus. As it begins to get warm, students tend to misbehave more than
normal. Please have a talk with your child to remind him or her that
school is not over until May 21st. Students also need to be reminded
about their dress. Remember, when wearing shorts or skirts, a good
rule of thumb is to place your hand down by your side, and if your
index finger touches skin then the shorts or skirt is to short.
Students who violate the dress code will call home for a change of
clothing. Your help with the above issues will help us all to have a
smooth and peaceful end to the school year. Your assistance will be
greatly appreciated.
We wanted you to be aware of the uniform policy that is
mandatory for all Baldwin County Elementary School students
for the 2008-2009 school year. More details about the school
uniforms are listed below
Blandy Hills School Uniforms will
consist of the following:
Shirts colors: Burgundy, Blue, White, and
Red
Pants/Shorts/Skirts/Skorts colors: Khaki,
Blue, or Black
Fridays will be a free day or school
spirit day. Students will be allowed to wear their normal clothes,
or they can wear their Blandy shirts.
No Flip Flops allowed for the 2008-2009
year. You will be able to find uniforms in our local Belk, JC
Penny, and Wal-Mart stores. You will also be able to find the
uniforms in Target and Kohl’s in Macon. If you have any questions,
just call the school office and we will be glad to help you.
Educationally yours,
Raymond Braziel,
Principal |
