The staff and students at Creekisde collected money to send to the American Red Cross in an effort to assist in the relief for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. They raised a grand total of $1,785!

Stay in school- Casie Aycock and Shelby Duke were county winners of the "Stay In School" Essay Contest

2009-2010 spelling bee winners were:  4th grade 2nd place- Dorothy Elangwe,  4th grade  1st place - Kayla Casto, 5th grade 1st place Selena Arguella-Cruz, and 5th grade 2nd place- Devon Toler

Students who recently learned about the recycling process and its importance to the environment showed off their creativity by constructing a "Recycled Scarecrow" from household materials.
