BHS's 3rd Junior Miss!

Milledgeville teen named Georgia’s Junior Miss 2010

It’s the third time in the past five years that a Milledgeville-Baldwin County’s Junior Miss has captured the title of Georgia’s Junior Miss.

Natali Gavanarova of Milledgeville won the title of Georgia’s Junior Miss 2009 on August 1, 2009 during the Georgia’s Junior Miss Scholarship Program in Marietta. Gavanarova won $5,600 in cash scholarships and will travel to Mobile, Alabama, to participate in the 53rd AJM National Finals. During the National Finals, Gavanarova will represent Georgia through out the year and compete with representatives from the other 49 states for the opportunity to become America's Junior Miss 2010 and for a share of more than $125,000 in cash scholarships.
Gavanarova will join the ranks with sisters Blair Harshbarger & Laura Brett Harshbarger as Georgia’s Junior Miss state winners.  Gavanarova competed against twenty-one other young women, each of whom were high school seniors from Georgia.  In addition to the title of Georgia’s Junior Miss, she also won preliminary awards in talent and self-expression.
