BCBB - NOTICE OF MEETINGS

1. Regular Meetings

A notice containing the time, place and date of each regularly scheduled Board and Committee meeting shall be posted on an appropriate bulletin board in the Central Office. Such notice shall advise the public that persons desiring to address the board must have presented a request to the Superintendent at least five (5) days prior to the meeting in order to be recognized.

2. Special Meetings

Whenever any meeting of the Board is held at a time or place other than at the time and place prescribed for regular meetings , the Board shall give due notice by posting a written notice at the Central Office for at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Such notice shall also be given at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting to The Union Recorder, either in writing, or by telephone.

3. Notice to the Public

Each year in January the Board shall establish its regular meeting date for the year and publish a notice of same in the official county organ for two consecutive weeks.
