CN - ADMINISTRATION RECORDS RECORDS MANAGEMENT

As provided by the provisions for local governments in the Georgia Records Act, amended 1982, the Board of Education will establish records retention standards for records maintained. The retention standards will be based on the legal, fiscal, administrative, and historical needs of the record. The Superintendent may appoint a Records Management Officer to coordinate the operation of a records management program under the Georgia Records Act.
